Measure the quality of a learning environment is critical to get some assurance of success.
At a time when the experiences in blended learning environments are low, and those that exist have many different characteristics, we believe that it is important to create a "quality stamp" to somehow certify blended-learning (b-Learning) offered with the support of the unit of e-Learning and Pedagogical Innovation of the Polytechnic of Porto (EIPP).
This work is the result of several years of research and experience of the unit elements, which already has more than 15 years, either as students or as teachers in these teaching and learning contexts. This work also resulted from a research path in which are considered and analyzed several international models for assessing the quality of learning environments, including the Portuguese standard NP4545 "Requirements for assessment of the quality of courses with a strong component in e-learning ". The information, concepts and procedures presented here provide support for teachers and trainers who wish to validate the minimum requirements to ensure the quality of the courses offered in blended-learning.
